Heaven and Hell.

Heaven is a place where nothing ever happens. David Byrne wrote these words. How exact a describer these words are.

For those that keep track of my words, you know that x-star is a spirit. I occupy c-k and have done so for, oh, such a long time. I am outside of time, and also, all over the place. Although I did not accompany the person known as Virgil on his tour of the "spheres," it is a rather easy task for me to wander among them and wonder about them.

Let me tell you something about these spheres:

For so much as Heaven is a place where nothing really happens, Purgatory and Hell are very busy places that are not at all bound by dimension, and thus, there's plenty of space available for your soul.

"My soul?"

Ajaja!!!

Here is some visual information about H&H... First, a place situated in Heaven.

Somewhere in Heaven

Here is a place that is found in Hell. It is called the Weeping Forest.

The Weeping Forest

As Dant Alighieri informed, the Weeping Forest is the destination for those that commit suicide. It occupies a very remarkable niche, the seventh circle of Hell. Those that attempt suicide and fail in the attempt may also end up in this place. It's not so bad. There's no way out, for it is Hell, but it is a quiet, gentle place where you become a tree and do what trees do everywhere. Extract and store carbon, produce oxygen that supplies Hell with the oxygen that is vital to combustion everywhere.

Which is to say, the laws of nature are found in Hell. Oxygen is required to aid combustion. Lots and lots of combustion in Hell, as you can well imagine! So, there is a great need for the trees that occupy the Weeping Forest.

The Weeping Forest is, in a way, auxillary to Heaven. That's because some of the most delightful souls go there. Do not for a moment think that those that occupy the Forest are suffering in the burning fires of Hell, regardless of its position within the "spheres" for at least some of these souls are cherished by the Heavenly ones.

Since Hell has been so well described, and has now claimed much of terra, I omit any additional details concerning this place. If you truly wish to know what Hell is like, your average television set can inform you of this very quickly. Look carefully into the eyes of those that you do see in some TV advertisements that are aimed at conditioning geezers into some sort of action and those people are from Hell. Your average Mafia contract killer is a nicer person. Mister Radical Evil Bob Parsons (Go Daddy!) almost looks like purgatory slag compared to some of these "people."

Now, about Purgatory... For those of you that received lessons in dictation in a Child's Garden by some Roman Catholic nun swiping a ruler (when you are truly supposed to be playing "show me" with your pallies or getting your little mittens covered in paint or some other garden activity), you know what purgatory is all about. If you were frightened by the experience and left an acid trace in the chair that you occupied in terror during this ordeal, you have experienced a purgatory and know what to expect. The vicious nun was your drill sergeant, in this case.

For the vast majority of souls, Purgatory is as closed to Heaven as is Hell. The guide-book suggests otherwise, but in reality, this "sphere" is as far away from Heaven as you can get! I surmise that you generally have as much chance to get to Heaven from Purgatory as you do to get to Heaven from Hell. Zero is the perfect number that comes to mind.
